IN THE END is a guided journal that allows you to write down all of the practical information your loved ones will need when you die. It’s also a funeral planner and a place to note memorable events, share favourite photos and record family history. 

Created by my sister Lisa Doust and featuring my illustrations, this deeply personal project came about after our youngest sister lost her husband and two sons in a tragic accident in 2018. It’s a tribute to our beautiful family and we hope it prompts important discussions among loved ones, and helps to ensure that each journal-keeper’s post-death wishes are fulfilled.

IN THE END is A5 in size, 160 pages and full colour. It has been endorsed by renowned crisis expert, teacher, author and inspirational speaker Petrea King, who stocks the journal at Quest for Life Foundation in the Southern Highlands of NSW, which she founded back in 1989.
